Robert Parks This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of June in the year of our
to Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty Seven between
Michael Peasall [Pearsall] Robert Parks of the Town of Troy Oakland County and Territory of
Michigan and Polly his wife of the first part and Michael Pearsall of the place aforesaid of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar to
them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and
acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second [part] &
to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the Town
of Troy in the County of Oakland in the Territory of Michigan known and distinguished as a part of Lot
Number Seventeen & being part of the East half of the North West quarter of said Section
Seventeen of Township numbered two North of Range numbered Eleven East Beginning at the
South East corner of the west half of the North west quarter Running North to the Section line of
said Section thence East far enough on parallel lines to contain forty acres Together with all and
singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the
reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits threreof and all the estate
right title claim and demand whatsoever of the said partys [sic] of the first part either in law or equity of in
and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to
hold the said premises above described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the
sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second party his heirs and assigns
forever and the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors and administrators do
covenant grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second [part] his heirs and assigns
that at the time of this ensealing and delivery of these presents they are well seized of the premises
above conveyed as of a good sure perfect Estate of inheritance in law And that the above bargained
premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second [part] his heirs and
assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof
they will forever Warrant and Defend. In Witness whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto set
their hands and seals the day and year first above written

Be it remembered that on this twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and
twenty seven personally appeared before me Samuel Satterlee a Justice of the Peace in and for the
County of Oakland and Territory of Michigan Robert Parks and Polly his wife to me personally known to
be the persons within described and who executed the within deed of Conveyance who severally
acknowledged that they executed the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said
Polly being by me examined separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she signed the
same freely and voluntarily without any fear threat or compulsion from him all this I do certify according to
the Statute
