Directions: The purpose of this form is to assist the Student Teacher in evaluating
ones growth at the midterm and fnal points of the student teaching experience. Each

University Supervisor and the Cooperating Teacher.

Areas within the Four Domains where I have demonstrated
improvement:

I have made significant improvements to meeting objectives, student


engagement, and have a student lead classroom. I have really grown as a
teacher, taking into consideration all the suggestions that were made by my CT
and my university supervisor. These improvements have helped me move from a
student teacher to a real teacher.

One or two long-term professional goals I have set for myself include
(something you want to improve within your frst year of teaching):

I would like to continue to master engaging students fully during


the duration of class. I have made signifcant improvements in this
area, but it is a very important aspect of teaching to me and I want to
continue to improve this skill. I also want to continue making the
student learning more student centered. At frst I was uncomfortable
with doing this due to not knowing the students and being new to
having full responsibility of the class. I have improved this immensely
and have really allowed the students to take control with discussions
which causes them to be more engaged. I have several strategies like
cold calling, or questioning techniques in my arsenal that I can look to

in my frst year of teaching. I would like to develop more skills and
hone in on what works in my own classroom as I did with this class.
