In this research paper the career of Computer programmers is examined. This includes talking

about what exactly they do and how the job outlook and pay is in the future for anybody who is

interested in becoming a computer programmer themselves. Computer programmers help make

computer applications run by creating, modifying, and testing code. Computer programmers may

also help other people like software developers to help fulfill users needs . This means that there

are a bunch of different skills and experiences that are needed ,so to gain these skills you will

most likely need to go to a college or university. This paper will also look at what skills are

specifically needed to become a full time computer programmer.

Computer programmers develop and write computer programs. With the programs they

develop they are able to store, locate, and retrieve the information and data they need. They also

work with software developers to help study users needs and problems and they create solutions

for their problems. Computer programmers also assign specific duties to employees and they can

sometimes train other people in software use. On average computer programmers make about

79,500 dollars a year. This is one of the highest paying jobs in the US. As a commputer

programmer you will be able to advance into becoming a computer systems analysts.

Computer programmers are mostly needed for the computer systems designs and

software publishing industry. Computer programmers usually work alone, but they can

sometimes work with others within the same industry. When they do work with someone else

hey usually work online with each other since they are both working on the computer.

There are a lot of skills and qualities needed to become a computer programmer. The

qualities needed can include being able to have good analytical skills to understand instructions

in order to create computer code. You also need to have great concentration because you will be

working for long periods of times and another great thing to have would be to be detail oriented,

so make sure you dont make a big mistake.

To become a computer programmer you most likely would need a bachelors degree, but

its not required. If you are going into a specific field like accounting then you should the classes

needed to supplement your degree. Its would also be nice to take a few computer language

classes to prepare you for anything in the industry. The last things you would need is a certificate

to become certified in the products that you use and in specific programming languages. It would

also be nice to already a=have a little bit of experience with computers.
