FROM System Data Restore:

- Select 2.RESTORE SRAM" The following confirmation
message is displayed. To start backup, press the [YES]
soft key.
-Upon the termination of backup, the system displays the
following message. Press the [SELECT] soft key.
SRAM Backup/Restore (Open System):
1.) Select SRAM Tab
2.) Click on [Backup] button to store SRAM Image
-Or
1.) from the main menu select item 6. SYSTEM DATA
LOADING.
2.) The menu of files stored on the Memory Card in the PCMCIA

FROM data are files stored in the CNCs internal Flash
Memory. They include FANUC System Software, MTB
Ladder Files, and MTB Custom Screen Files.
A limited Number of User Files may be backed up from the
Control Flash ROM. The following files may be backed up
to a memory card
FROM System Data Save:
1.) from the main menu select item 6. SYSTEM DATA
SAVE NOTE:

 2.) Entering Boot Loader With HSSB Open CNC III. System Backup
I. Requirements
1.) Description:
NOTE: The Boot Loader is used to backup Image of the user SRAM
Hardware Requirements: In an Open System CNC the Boot Loader can store information on (Static RAM ) Data and selected and selected files located in
a PCMCIA Flash Memory card or any storage device connected to the system FROM (Flash ROM)
-Standard Control the PC used as the primary display.
-Flash Memory Card =< 1 GIG max 2.) Main Menu Screen
- or
Start up:
- HSSB Open System
- PC with HSSB Board Mounted in PCI Slot 1.) Make Sure Power is off.
- or - 2.) Note Current Position of Rotary
- Ethernet switch.
- PC with Custom FOCAS2 VB Application 3.) Move Switch to the E position

II. Activating System Boot Loader 3.) SRAM Data

SRAM data is user data stored in the battery backed up

1.)Standard CNC System memory of the CNC. These utilities store the whole SRAM
image as a single file for backup. SRAM Data includes:

Boot Loader will only use a Flash Memory Card as a backup device.

Mount the Flash Memory Card in the PCMCIA slot located just left of
SRAM Back up :
the LCD Display or in the slot on the Logic rack of a stand alone
type control
Press the [UP] or [DOWN] soft key to select the SRAM DATA
BACKUP function. After positioning the cursor to the desired
function, press the [SELECT] soft key. The following menu
will be displayed:

Entering the Boot Loader:
Turn the power on CNC Control while simultaneously
pressing the two soft keys at the right end.
NOTE:
If no soft keys are provided as with a touch panel, use MDI
numeric keys 6 and 7.

CAUTION: Do not change the name of this file Control
will not recognize it by other name.
CAUTION: Do not load this file to any other CNC
except the one it came from, it will corrupt control
memory requiring a Service Call.
