CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF IMPORTANT PHILIPPINE EVENTS

A. Our Section FIN 131 has been divided into 5 groups --- 3 groups with 8 members and 2 groups
with 9 members.
B. Each group will pick two (2) cases; with only 4 members assigned per case.
C. For the two (2) groups with 9 members, one sub-group will have 5 members.
D. Choice of event for case study will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
E. Since there are three (3) cases studies and ten (10) groups, it means one case study will be
reported by 3 groups. It also means only one case study will be reported by 4 groups.

1. Define the ethical issues
2. Identify the affected parties (stakeholders)
3. Identify the consequences of each possible action
4. Think creatively about potential actions
5. Decide on the proper ethical action and be prepared to deal with opposing arguments.
6. Personal reflection on the case / event and how you will relate this to you as a business
student and future management practitioner.
