I am pleased to write this Letter of Recommendation for Kathy Le for any position she
seeks. I had the distinct pleasure of having Ms. Le as a student in Spring 2016 for NURS
3900 and NURS 3910 Mental Health Theory and Clinical Nursing. She immediately
distinguished herself as a bright, inquisitive and energetic scholar. As her professor I
enjoyed critiquing and discussing her assignments, scholastic achievements and career
aspirations.
Kathy has been active in community volunteering at Memorial Medical Center in various
departments. From 2008-2010 her duties included working in visitor information, patient
transportation for hospital departments, admissions and discharge, medical records and
clinical lab. She has been a volunteer at Kaiser since June 2016 as customer service
representative where she provides fluids, snacks, movies, and gift bags in both the
medical-surgical and maternal units. In addition to her volunteering activities Kathy has
been on the Deans and Honorable Mentions Lists every semester from 2011-2016, the
recipient of the One Purpose Scholarship Award in 2016, and is working as Certified
Nursing Assistant 16-20 hours a week while maintaining a 3.71 GPA every semester.
She is well liked by her peers and works well with others. Her good judgment,
professionalism, and mature outlook ensure a logical and practical approach to all her
endeavors. She is highly recommended without hesitation.
