Hudson Restaurant & Lounge

The West Ends stylish Hudson Restaurant & Lounge is rolling out the pink carpet and joining
the fight against breast cancer with a meal to remember. Gilt City members are invited to
celebrate the conclusion of the 3.2-mile Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October
29 with a festive Pink Brunch. A hearty serving of pumpkin waffles topped with fresh fruit and
whipped cream from the waffle station, an omelet with smoked salmon and fresh vegetables, or a
plate piled with fresh fruits and granola provides the perfect finish to a morning spent walking in
honor of women who have battled breast cancer. Even tastier, 25 percent of the brunchs
proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the organization leading the fight against the
disease. Refuel, celebrate, honor someone you love.

Hu's Wear

!
Washingtonians revere Marlene Hu Aldaba for introducing the best creative talent from South
Korea, Italy and Belgium into our closets. On September 8, Gilt City members will see why Hus
Wear has developed a cult following when Aldaba hosts a private shopping party, offering 80
percent off designer clothes, shoes and accessories. Guests will also score a $25 credit to be used
towards purchases made that evening. Tucked in an airy building off Georgetowns brick-lined
M Street, Hus Asian-inspired murals and statues set the scene for you on a shopping journey
around the globe. Grab a cocktail and plate of hors doeuvres as you browse through clothes
from Alexander McQueen, The Row, Proenza Schouler, DSquared, Isabel Marant and more. You
are sure to find the perfect pair of heels or gorgeous dress to heat up your fall closet. And you
or anyone else, for that matterlikely wont find it anywhere else.

Estadio

!
Lingering over a glass of Rioja and savoring Estadios delicate pintxos is sure to transport you
out of D.C.s heat and into the rolling mountains of Northern Spains charming Basque region.
Gilt City members are invited to take an exclusive Tour of Spain on September 10, with
Estadios tasting menu leading you on a journey to the Old World. Here, food, wine and good
conversation reign. Stepping off bustling 14th Street, 19th-century Spanish tile and carved wood
tables provide the ambiance for an evening of five pintxos and tapas, paired with Spains finest
wines. Maybe youll begin with cured meats and jamn-wrapped fig with almond cabrales,
before moving to deviled eggs stuffed with ensaladilla rusa and croquetas de jamn with pickled
cucumbers. Buen provecho!
