Describe the instructional activities that will occur prior to the SRS activity and how you will
introduce the SRS activity: Students will be learning an economic lesson on producers and consumers and
the supply and demand of goods and services. This exercise will be used to assess their knowledge of this
lesson and used as a summative assessment to determine their understanding.

Type of session: Teacher-Paced Student-Paced

Identification of students:
Students will log-in so their individual scores will be available to you after the session
SRS activity will be anonymous
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity
This activity is designed to help students practice the terms in the lesson and review. They will be prompted
with questions that will be derived from the economics lesson. A matching option is available for them and
a voice command for those who would like assistance with reading the terms to them. This will be a
student-paced exercise, as they will be working at their own pace. This SRS activity should not take more
than 30 minutes for practice and assessment.

Following the practice, a test is available with questions and used to assess their understanding of this
material. This will be a summative assessment. This part will be teacher-paced as it will be assessing their
overall knowledge of the terms and information.

Types of questions/prompts (Check all that apply):
Multiple choice Multiple Select True/False Yes/No Short open-ended response
or fill in the blank Longer open-ended response
Provide samples of questions/prompts to be given to students: See the example of the Quizlet test
below and the sample questions that are included.

Right/Wrong Answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions? Yes No

Mixed (Some will have correct answers, others will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback:
Will you pre-select correct answers to some or all of the questions and display correct response to the class
after the SRS activity? Yes No
Why or why not? Following the submit of the test, the correct answers will be shown to all answers. If the
answers are incorrect, the correct ones will be shown.
Use of data:
The practice terms will be available to the students via online or mobile device for practice, prior to the test.
This will assist in preparing for their test assessment. The data from the test will be used as a summative
assessment and a grade will be given. This will be used to determine what the students have learned in this
lesson, overall, on economics in the marketplace.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: Following the SRS activity, all grades will be looked at
to determine the overall achievement of this lesson. If students still do not have a thorough understanding
of this, based on the test, we will add in another practice session and retake of the test.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.
I personally have only used Quizlet to help me with certain practice sessions on exams before. Prior to this
activity, I have not created a Quizlet of my own. I like this method, as it is an easy to create and use for the
students in helping them master areas that they need practice with. This tool could be used for all subjects
and levels. I will certainly use this in my classroom to assist with students needs in practice and
understanding and for assessments on certain lessons.
