Introductory Activities:
- Introduction to connecting the physical body to art making.
- Discuss drawing from observation
- Discuss Surrealism and Surrealist games.
- View and discuss the examples of Fluxus scores.

Check for understanding:


Drawing Breath
- Timed drawing with eyes closed following the breath, run for 3 min, repeat

drawing, notice the difference in the body and how it manifests in the drawing.

Surrealist exquisite corpse dance
- Discuss the form of an exquisite corpse drawing, divide students into groups of

three, groups collaborate to choreograph an exquisite corpse movement piece.

Fluxus Score
- Students will view Fluxus scores from the past and compose one of their own.
