Content Standard By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to
pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm
and intonation.
By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and
respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of
purposes.

Learning Standard Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.

Learning Objectives By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
Talk about their ambition with the stimulus provided.
Match the pictures with the correct descriptions.
Act out about the occupations

Theory Of Language Behaviorist Theory


Learning Skinner argued that children learn language based on behaviorist
reinforcement principles by associating words with meanings. Correct
utterances are positively reinforced when the child realizes the
communicative value of words and phrases.
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
- Read and answer 3 out of 5 true-false questions correctly
- Read and sequence at least 4 out of 7 story lines correctly
- Identify the 3 out of 5 vocabularies learned in word search activity.
Language Approach/ Communicative Approach
Method The communicative approach is based on the idea that learning language
successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning.
The students can use the language in real life with knowing the meaning of
the word.
Total Physical Approach
Theory that the memory is enhanced through association with physical
movement.
Moral Values Respect others, be ambitious, humble, kind hearted and hardworking

Previous Knowledge Pupils have learned about names of some occupations.

Set Induction 1. Teacher shows a video about occupations. Video

and list out the occupations from the video they
had watched.

Presentation/Practice 1. Teacher divides pupils into a few groups. Flashcards

flashcard.
3. Teacher gives pupils about ten minutes to
discuss with their group members about the
occupation they get.
4. Pupils need to act out about the occupation.
5. After acting, they need to paste the flashcard on
the whiteboard.
