When power is supplied to multiple elevators in a group through a common feeder, the capacity of the power supply
transformer, the size of the feeder, and the current rating of the no-fuse (NF) breaker for one elevator are each multiplied
by the corresponding diversity factor below.

The current size of the grounding wire is determined according to the current rating of the NF breaker on the power source side. A
Keyhole
(Min. clearance)
The current rating of the NF breaker on the power source side should be one level larger than that on the receiving box side
in the elevator machine room.

Features Important Information on Elevator Planning
Standard Features Work Not Included in Elevator Contract
Feature 1C-2BC 2C-2BC 3C-2BC The following items are excluded from Mitsubishi Electrics elevator installation work, and are therefore the responsibility of the
building owner or general contractor:
Mitsubishi Emergency Landing Device (MELD) S S S
Construction of the elevator machine room with proper beams and slabs, equipped with a lock, complete with illumination,
Emergency Bell (EMB) S S S ventilation and waterproofing.
Emergency Car Lighting (ECL) S S S Access to the elevator machine room sufficient to allow passage of the control panel and traction machine.
Door Sensor Self-diagnosis (DODA) S S S
Architectural finishing of the machine room floor, and the walls and floors in the vicinity of the entrance hall after installation has
been completed.
Automatic Door Speed Control (DSAC) S S S Construction of an illuminated, ventilated and waterproofed elevator hoistway.
Reopen with Hall Button (ROHB) S S S A ladder to the elevator pit.
Repeated Door-close (RDC) S S S
The provision of cutting the necessary openings and joists.
Separate beams, when the hoistway dimensions markedly exceed the specifications, and intermediate beams when two or more
Door Nudging Feature With Buzzer (NDG) S S S elevators are installed.
Door Load Detector (DLD) S S S All other work related to building construction.
The machine room power-receiving panel and the electrical wiring for illumination, plus the electrical wiring from the electrical
Multi-beam Door Sensor S S S room to the power-receiving panel.
Safe Landing (SFL) S S S The laying of conduits and wiring between the elevator pit and the terminating point for the devices installed outside the hoistway,
such as the emergency bell, intercom, monitoring and security devices, etc.
Next Landing (NXL) S S S
The power consumed in installation work and test operations.
Continuity of Service (COS) S S All the necessary building materials for grouting in of brackets, bolts, etc.
Overload Holding Stop (OLH) S S S The test provision and subsequent alteration as required, and eventual removal of the scaffolding as required by the elevator
contractor, and any other protection of the work as may be required during the process.
Car Call Canceling (CCC) S S S
The provision of a suitable, locked space for the storage of elevator equipment and tools during elevator installation.
Car Fan Shut Off Automatic (CFO-A) S S S
The security system, such as a card reader, connected to Mitsubishi Electrics elevator controller, when supplied by the building
Car Light Shut Off Automatic (CLO-A) S S S owner or general contractor.
* Work responsibilities in installation and construction shall be determined according to local laws. Please consult us for details.
