Evaluation questions 2, 4 and 5

4.The audience for my magazine is both genders, I have done this

so that there is a wider audience and to break codes and
conventions because dj music isnt normally aimed at girls, a way in
which I have targeted my magazine at both gernders is by including
both males and females into my magazine and using both for my
models. Another way in which I made my magazine aimed and
males and females is by using colours (black and green) which
arent gender sterotyped colours such as pink and purple for a irl or
blue for a boy. The age of the target audience is 16-25. I have chose
this as my target audience because from my questionnaire I realised
that people this age are more interested in dj music than older or
younger people are. A way in which I made my magazine aimed at
this age group is by using the models which are this age so that the
audience can relate to the models in my magazine. Another way in
which I made my magazine targeted towards this age group is the
language I used in the article is suitable for them.

2.This magazine represents a social group of ravers, who enjoy

music, clubs, festivals and gigs. A way I have done this is by using
the models, thiere costumes make them represent this social group
by the cap and headphones on the front cover and the dps. Another
way in which my magzin represents this social group is by the
colours used throught it, for example the green and black represent
a dark club/gig/festival and the bright green represent the stobe
lights and disco lights which is typical for a dj and is common for a
raver.

5. a way in which I attracted and addressed the audience is by

having the model on the front cover looking directly at the camera,
this is so that the audience feel directed and they would be engaged
as they would feel as if theyre being targereted. Another way in
which I attracted the target audience is by using male and females
so that both genders feel that they can read this magazine, I did this
by using both male and female models. Another way in which I
attracted the audience is again by using the models which are the
same age as the target audience so that the audience can look up
to them, aspire to be like them, and also so they can relate to the
models and they would feel a part of the magazine. Another way in
which I made the audience attracted is by using colours that I felt
represented the dj music genre, so that they would enjoy the
magazine and alos enjoy the colours,, the colours are aimed at both
male and female, therefor it proves that both genders are able to
read this magazine.
