among the people of ASEAN.

T he team managers from all
contingents gathered at Pendeta
Za’ba College to clarify technical
matters on the track and field events.
Questions on training sched-
ules and dates of actual events were
put forward for further clarification.
The hammer throw and the discus
throw events will be held at different
venues situated a few metres from the
main venue.
Apart from that, the contin-
gents are encouraged to use their own
sports equipment for the respective
events. However, they have to register
the equipment to be used first.
The results for each event will
be given in both hard and soft copies.
For the winning teams, they have the
honour to receive the prizes from their
own officials.

the 2009 World Band Challenge in
Modena, Italy. They performed
three songs, including a tribute song
to Michael Jackson. This was accom-
panied by creative and entertaining
formations with flags , mesmerizing
the spectators.

The sepak takraw team managers’ meeting was held at
Pendeta Za’ba College. Six countries will be participating in
this event namely Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei,
Singapore and Malaysia. During the meeting, the Games
Technical Cooordinator for sepak takraw gave a briefing on
the general rules and regulations of the game. He also
updated them on the latest changes which are based on the
