My love for creating theater flourished in the small, intimate black box space

in the basement of Capital Universitys Student Union. Its modest appearance and
capabilities were always presenting new challenges, overcome by long hours and a
communal dedication to producing original, contemporary, and classic theater in
continually inventive ways. Now, a year away college, I am excited to join a
workforce of theatre professionals creating the same kind of engaging, thought-
provoking experience. Studio Theatres mission of producing close-quartered,
empathetic performances aligns with my passions as well as my skillset, and I would
be delighted to serve that mission as an apprentice.
While I have great enthusiasm for theatre as an art, it is matched by my
