Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education Teacher Positions

I am writing in response to your opening for Elementary Teachers for the year of 2017-2018. I feel that I have
acquired the passion and work-ethic worthy enough for any job opportunity. I am currently working for Mineral
County Public Schools as a Fifth-Grade Teacher. Teaching in both Mineral County and Baltimore County has given
me a wide variety of opportunities. I have had the privilege of working with multiple ELL students, many of who
were learning English through full inclusion in my classroom. I have also had the opportunity of teaching students
from multiple cultures, and working one-on-one with their families in a Title One School. I have had students from
self-contained classrooms join my students for daily instruction. Through my experiences in both rural and urban
environments I have learned how to reach out to students with academic, behavioral, emotional and social needs, and
helped them to become successful in the classroom.

I am dedicated to every individual student in my room. What drives me as an educator is having every student met
their full potential. I want my students to push forward as individuals. I want them not only to meet my goals, but to
set goals for themselves. I use every possible resource available to help my students achieve the rigorous goals that I
set for them. I also set very high goals for myself as an educator. Last year, I dedicated my training to reach out to
the emotional and social needs of my students through CPI and TACT2 classes. This year, I have dedicated my
training to data reflection and analyzation.

I very interested in any open positions you may have available, and hope that I might hear from you in the future. I
am currently employed by Mineral County Public Schools until June 2017, but do not have employment for the
2017-2018 school year due my seniority status. Enclosed a link to my online portfolio with further details about
