 2-D ANIMATION DIPLOMA
Intermediate 2-D Animation : An introduction to the
development of personality and emotion in animated characters
is explored. Students will produce an animation of a character
expressing emotions and also will work with multiple characters to
increase the level of complexity.
Advanced 2-D Animation : In this course, building on the study of
personality and emotion in character animation, students are
responsible for organising the elements required to finish an
animated short.
 3-D ANIMATION DIPLOMA

After learning foundational art and computer animation skills and exploring a
variety of 3-D disciplines, you may elect to specialize in Modeling. Models are
the foundation of all 3D media. Every medium, whether its imagery is computer-
generated or live action, requires 3D models. Specializing in Modeling will
prepare you to build these assets in an efficient and detail-oriented method. The
end result is high-quality models ready to meet the needs of any production.
 3-D MODELLING DIPLOMA

Fundamentals of Computer Animation The purpose of this Block is to give students a

thorough understanding of computer animation. Students who complete this term
will have a solid understanding of camera and vehicle animation, parent/child
hierarchies, character rigging, character animation, facial animation, lip syncing,
physical simulations, motion capture for film and gaming, and animation for motion
simulation devices.
Animated films showcase a wide range of skills, and a great many projects are
screened at festivals around the world. Students specializing in 3D Animation most
often go on to work as character animators, texture and lighting artists, and pre-
visualization artists in film and television.
 VISUAL EFFECTS
After learning foundational art and computer animation skills and exploring a variety of
3D disciplines, you may elect to specialize in Visual Effects. Visual Effects (VFX) are any
effects digitally created or enhanced for a movie, TV, or video game production. The
goal of all visual effects is to keep the audience focused on the story and characters,
and good VFX artists are judged by their ability to make the impossible seem absolutely
real.
To do this, artists need to know cinematography, lighting and colour theory, as well as
having solid 2D and 3D skills. VFS extends its immersive philosophy to this specialty, and if
you specialize in VFX, you will design and shoot your own live-action scenes, as well as
study disciplines including Design, Modeling, Match Moving, Surfacing, Lighting, Digital
Texture Painting, and Digital Compositing, as you create an original, high-quality VFX
reel.
 GRAPHICS DESIGNING
Graphic design is a creative process, used to convey a message with focus on visual
communication and presentation. The field as a whole is also referred to as Communication
Design. A graphic designer may use a combination of typography, visual arts and page
layout techniques to produce a great design.
However, the mind is the most important design tool. Aside from technology, a creative
mind booming with ideas, good judgment, observation, quantitative and analytic thinking
are required for creative design layouts and rendering. New ideas can come by way of
experimenting with tools and methods too.
 FILM MAKING

regular workshops and on-set intensives, these films combine to create a body of

 ACTING, DANCING & SINGING
SRILOK Institute of Films and animation offers students opportunities throughout the
year to enroll in the acting program of their choice. SRILOK provides the practical
based training, under the strict guidance of award-winning faculty. Our state of the art
facilities enable the student to explore their innovative ideas and creativity as well.
Under the course, our faculty trains aspiring scriptwriters in the fundamentals of story
and script writing. The course starts from completing a professional script in
accordance with industry standards. Along with this, the students will be trained in
ideation, three act structure, developing character, plotting and scene structure.
During the first half of the course, we provide the foundation of script writing. Under the
first half session of script writing, we ensure to provide how to create cinematic
characters, how to brainstorm and develop own story.
