Reflection:
I was actually eager to write this reflection because I feel as thought I have some concepts I need to work on! Overall,
the 5 Es lesson plan was something that I was completely unfamiliar with, so I was not sure how it would go even after I
planned it out in my head over and over again. After rewatching my video, I am aware of some point I could improve. I
notice many children not paying attention. However, I did want this to be an open discussion in hope of all student
participating because they are engaged, for this did not go as planned. Some children did not care for the content while
others were exceptionally eager to answer my questions. While I did call on students who were not actively engaged,
there were some that would be so excited to answer, but I did not correct their whole body listening. I know now that I
should keep a discussion to me calling on the students to answer rather than hoping that all students will be engaged. I
also noticed that students were waving to my camera in the back of the classroom, so I was obviously not paying
attention to each and every student. I was impressed with the students pase every time they were given a task. From
this, I conclude that I need to work on my classroom management. My collaborative teacher actually informed me that I
should not clean up materials while students are working. I learned this behavior from working at a day care for a few
years. I was always taught to be productive and multitask throughout the day. This whole groups lesson taught me that
there are a lot of things I need to work on! Especially teaching through the 5es
