Global Citizen Essay

The significance of being a global learner and citizen of the twenty first century is

that we are the next generation and we can make a difference. The Ambassador School

of Global Leaderships mission of helping students become leaders and creating a

better environment focuses on developing global learners. Similarly, the vision is

building up leaders. The essential qualities of a global learner and citizens are

leadership, trust, and take responsibilities.

It is the essential to be a global learner because you set an example for others.

Barack Obama is an example of one and can best be described as a leader and

intelligent. This person's greatest achievement was being the first African American

President of the United States of America. He has done so much for the United States

and this shows their commitment to global citizenship. In order to achieve this level of

global citizenship one must set an example as a leader to others.

Becoming a global learner and citizen is crucial to my academic life because this

particular training can train me to be a leader that I can be. I believe I have mastered my

global performance outcome best through going through hardship in school and in my
life. The experience of mastering the global performance outcomes has helped me to

understand how to be a leader. As well, mastering the global performance outcomes

has assisted me in school and life. Leadership and intelligence were essential points in

becoming a global learner and citizen. It is undeniable that achieving these qualities of a

global learner has improved my overall being because it can help me in my future to

keep on growing as a leader.

The Global Learner and citizen can best contribute to society as she or he is able

to lead and build new leaders as well. One who has not achieved Global Competency is

not competitive because once they fail theyll always think they will fail and not try. I will

contribute more effectively to society because I want to be a leader. Global Learning

and engaging is critical to the world because I need to show an example to others and

be a leader. Therefore I want to be a leader and set an example to others.

In conclusion, a global citizen will always be a strong leader that will always be

open and be ready to listen to different opinions all around the world and be open

minded about others. You must be positive and mature to be considered a true global

citizen. The number of students with similar mindsets as mine is very rare. Others

students want and recognize the importance of being a global citizen. I want to be an

example for others and I believe I will.
