Initial evaluation

Within each project team, an evaluation responsible shall be designated. The initial
evaluation will consist in a series of questionnaires for the target group which will aim for the
trust in the European collaboration of schools, the utility of the European projects, the necessity
to include interdisciplinary or cross curricular subjects in the curricular activities of the school,
as well as the expectations of the participants on the projects results.
This evaluation shall be conducted during the preparation period of the project.
The responsible with the evaluation will analyze the project results and will write a report
about the initial evaluation, which afterwards will be sent to the responsible with the evaluation
from the coordinating school. The information obtained through the initial evaluation will be used
for the execution of the operational plan, as well as for the execution of the final evaluation.

b. Intermediate evaluation this particular evaluation shall be done at the end of every
activity.

The purpose of the evaluation (what is evaluating):


1. The preparation activities;
2. The Transnational Project Meetings in Spain, Lithuania and Macedonia;
3. The projection of the RAINBOW over our world training program;
4. The implementation of the RAINBOW over our world training program with its four
modules (Earth, Water, Fire, Air);
5. The Learning, Teaching and Training Activities in Romania, Italy and Greece;
6. The eTwinning projects.

Necessary information

1. The quality and the objectivity of the selection process, as well as the collaboration
between partners;
2. The quality of the materials that were presented or realized during the reunions, the
satisfaction of the participants on the organization, the activities, the collaboration and
the communication with the partners;
3. The quality of the projection and of the materials that were made, the collaboration
between the partners and between the participants;
4. The organizational aspects of the program, the applied strategies, the materials that
were used, the results of the learning process, the satisfaction of the target group, the
values and the skills developed;
5. The quality of the training activities for the teachers and for the student participants: the
program, the contents of their learning, the approached strategies and the learning
results. The quality of the organization, the communication between the partners and the
satisfaction of the participants;
6. The quality of the eTwinning projects, of the final products, as well as the satisfaction of
the participants.

Information sources

1. The reports of the selection teams, the lists of the selected participants and the
messages exchanged between the participants;
2. The analysis of the materials, satisfaction questionnaires;
3. The analysis of the materials, questionnaires or interviews with the participants;
4. Activity reports that contain the students evaluation, the analysis of the didactic
materials, the students portfolios, questionnaires, the project journal;
5. The activity report, the analysis of the materials that were used, the learners portfolios,
questionnaires, interviews;
6. The eTwinning platform, in the section dedicated to projects, the project journal.

Collecting methods

The analysis of the materials, of the questionnaires, direct observation, interviews.

Organizing the information collection

Who? the responsible of evaluation in each of the partner schools. During the reunions,
the evaluation shall be made by the evaluation responsible from the school that hosts the
reunion.
When? - at the end of each activity.

Interpretation criteria

1. A fair, impartial and transparent selection process, which will create complete teams, as
stipulated in the project. All of the partners will consider that working in partnership was
at least Good.
2. Clear and coherent materials that are agreed by all partners. The average of a minimum
4 out of 5 of the issues covered in the questionnaires completed by the participants.
3. The materials resulted from the activity to be clear, coherent, creative and realistic, being
considered this way by all the participants in the projection. All of the partners will
consider that working in partnership was at least Good.
4. At least 80% of the student participants will develop the skills targeted by the clubs, will
consider the applied strategies as being creative and the program - innovative. The
portfolios of the students shall be graded with a minimum of Good. At least 90% of the
training teachers shall declare themselves satisfied by the results of the activities. At
least 80% of the impressions logged in the journal will be favorable to the program.
5. The training teachers shall grade with a minimum of Good the portfolios of the
participants. The average of at least 4 out of 5 at every aspect covered by the
satisfaction questionnaires completed by the participants.
6. All the impressions of the students and teachers who are involved in the eTwinning
projects published on the platform will be good or very good.

The responsible with evaluation will synthesize the results of the evaluation and will write
intermediate evaluation reports that will be sent to the responsible with evaluation from the
coordinating school.

c. Final evaluation (self-evaluation)

The final self-evaluation will be made through the analysis of the final products, the
satisfaction of the partners and of the direct or indirect recipients. Things that will be taken
into consideration: the quality and the application of the final products, the satisfaction of the
partners regarding these products, their intention on continuing the collaboration and their
intention to get involved in other European projects, the satisfaction of the target group
about the training program that took place during the projects and their wish to get involved
in other projects.
The evaluation will be made by a team formed by the principals, the coordinators of the
projects, as well as the responsible with evaluation in partner schools. The results of the
analysis will be compared with the results obtained in the initial evaluation and with the
objectives of the project, in order to ascertain if the desired impact was met.
This evaluation shall be used for the redaction of the final report.
The external evaluation shall be made by the NA, based on the final report, as well as on
other documents given by the partnership.
