I have gained extensive technical and managerial telecommunication experience. Working as a
Telecommunication Technician (NOC, Switch and Transport), NOC Manager, Supervisor, Switch Traffic
Engineer, And Switch Capacity Engineer. Project Management, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Novell CNE
Certification. My experiences cover a broad range of technologies, such as Ethernet over copper circuits,
next generation Soft switches, Class 5 switches, and Sonet Transport Systems. Hands on trouble shooting
experience, working on such equipment as Cisco and Juniper routers, ATM Switches, 5E, DMS, Meta
switches, DSLAMS, EFM circuits and Synchronous Optical Network DS3 to DWDM transport systems

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
10/2009 to 8/2010, NMC Technician 2, Broadview Network, King of Prussia, PA
Repair Ethernet over Copper (EFM) circuits, T1 circuits, Pots, Pri’s, VOIP Lines, and customer DS3
circuits. Use MetaAssist & Harris test set to test and repair Actelis EFM circuits (Actelis 2300 & 1300,
ML48, 624’s and 628’s). Repair T1 circuits by correcting miss-optioned equipment, isolating wiring
problem and defective equipment Use Net Analyst/Centest to access various Digital Cross Connect
Systems (Tellabs 5500 & 5320M/L, Turin, and Alcatel 1631). Access various types of Muxes and channel
banks, such as the Turin TA200, Telco Edgelink 100, Cac Wide Bank, Adtran 4303, and Audit 600).

Provide Remote Surveillance for the Cavalier Telephone Network using CiNAS, NETCOOL, Infoblox ID
Grid and Cacti surveillance systems. Perform remote access functions such as gathering performance data,
alarm, and environmental information, reload equipment, equipment software, upgrades, providing loops,
sending tones for trouble isolation and providing technical support to field technicians on such devices as
(Routers, Switches, DSLAMS, ATM, Ethernet, and Sonet transport equipment). Hands on experiences

Switch Traffic and Capacity Planning Engineer
Responsible for base lining the telephone traffic and trunking network, developing capacity forecasts,
designing growth plans to support forecasted and planned requirements, managing the implementation of
growth projects, and improving current and future network technologies and solutions to realize the
strategies and plans for the growth and development of Cavalier’s network. Incorporate Time-Consistent
Busy-Hour (TCBH) methodology, on network elements such as Network Trunks Groups, Voice Mail
Systems, Remote Terminals, and Voice Recognition Systems. Incorporating Erlang B, Neil Wilkinson, and
Poisson table to calculate busy day/hour, busy season, 10 high day period, call rate and holding time
variations and other traffic engineering parameters.

Network Operation Center Manager
Implemented best practices, set goals, objective, manage projects and develop procedures, and schedules.
Manage personnel development by training and coaching. Instruct, administer, and develop projects,
programs and policy such as 911 Restorations, Trunk/Line Circuit Testing, Facilities Testing, Affirmative
Action, and EEO. Ensure performance metrics are achieved. Communicates and interacts with clients on
provisioning, operational, and maintenance issues. Manage escalations for high severity and chronic
network issues. Resolve complex problems during critical outages. Managed two teams of 35 technicians
and supervisors in a 24/7 environment. One team remotely monitored and performed surveillance of AT&T
digital switches and transmission systems. Investigating correcting, and referring equipment troubles
indicated by switch and facilities maintenance messages, the other team performed switch to customer
testing, and repairing of out of service lines and trunks circuits, including 911 circuits. This included testing
and repairing all digital switches and transmission equipment.

Supervisor Trunk Operation Center
Manages, trained, establish priorities, and wrote performance development reviews, assign work, perform
all administration duties for Networks analysts in the Trunk Operation Center. Build Automatic Trunk Test
Schedules that performed transmission loss tests, noise tests and bits error test on trunks and digital
facilities on a scheduled basics. Restored out of service trunk; Corrected machine detected irregularities;
corrected facilities alerts; recovered digital facilities interface equipment for customer use. Correct
translation problems such as routing, digit analyst, and termination in both the 5ESS and DMS switches.
