In this well-planned lesson, Ms David clearly modeled the steps using dice to select the setting, character and
problem for the students creative writing activity.

Students actively participated in the lesson.

Key vocabulary words were introduced and presented throughout the lesson.

The lesson was developmentally appropriate and at the students interest and understanding level.

Ms. David circulated around the room as students worked on learning activities checking mastery and providing
assistance.
