Great Dames Peer-to-Peer Advisory Groups

How many groups are we launching in 2017?


Location of meetings: PHL and DE, where?
Number of members in each group: 6-10? (max 12)
Time of day. Day of week: weekday evening or weekend morning
Duration of each meeting: 1 hours 2 hours
Fee, payment schedule: ? Average costs are between $1000-$3000 per year

12-Month Curriculum

P2PAG Format for each group meeting:


Group Opening. Facilitator opens, shares on theme,
All members: group quick check in around the circle (2 min each) Whats new and whats
good?
Facilitator opens up group for Members who wish to have concentrated working time on an
item (optional). Members can choose share progress on their goal or other related item using
the following 3 questions as format (Facilitator monitors time):
1. What Are You Working On?
2. What Did You Learn?
3. What Do You Need Help With?
Afterwards member completes sharing on their item, they state if they are ready to open up
the group for others to share feedback, input, reflections, coaching (Facilitator monitors time)
Facilitator wraps up
Group Close out: Facilitator provides direction for closing. All members share one word
close out on what they are taking away from todays group. Or members can share one
sentence describing what their greatest insight was from today.
Month 1: Getting started introductory meeting

Introductions: Members introduce themselves and answer the question: What are my
expectations and my intentions for this group?
Facilitator: Review plans for P2P Group; high level intro to rules of engagement, format,
and timing, etc.
Group discussion and agreement: Rules of engagement, how do we want to want to
work together, when do we want to meet, attendance expectations and agreements, etc.
(signed agreements?)
Overview of ways the group will interact. Detailed discussion of the following:
o Review format and timing.
o Explain how to give reflections, feedback, sharing, coaching.
o Decide on how sharing will take place and rules for cross-talk.
o Explain the difference between coaching and advising or teaching.
o A coaching questions handout will be given with examples of probing and
supportive questions to assist members in goal identification, problem solving,
and setting actions and accountability.
Facilitator provides handouts for next month: Goals & Aspirations Sheets (see attached)
Close with reminder of next month's meeting date, time and location

Month 2: Goals & Aspirations

Facilitator opens (3 mins)


Members check in (2 min each): answer question: What is a prior success I had with
goal setting?
Facilitator: asks each member to share top goal from the handouts, etc.
Members share goals (limit to 6 min each).

o What Do You Need Help With?
Members can choose to open up for group input (3 min)
Facilitator wraps up meeting.
Members close out reflection: one word take-away
Facilitator reminds group of next meeting and pre-work for the meeting (VIA signature

Month 3: Leveraging your signature strengths
