11.Details and Results of Inspection:
11.1 Dimension inspection
FB2-L-003(15JZ-33-1) As per ITP, TR inspector randomly witnessed the PT process for the
lifting lug Weld seam E4; Before testing, TR inspector checked the period of validity of
penetrant, remover and developer, test condition, procedure, test process, and satisfactory.
no indication was detected during testing and accepted.
11.2 material edge preparation and fit-up
FB2-Z-003(15JZ-38-1 A drain piping)As per ITP, TR inspector randomly checked the
material edge preparation and fit-up during fabrication process. TR inspector measured the
bevel angle of grooves, alignment tolerance and assembly gap after fit-up, measured bevel
angle was 30, and alignment tolerance after fit-up was less than 1mm, the fit-up gap was
2mm, they met the requirement of approved welding dossier and ASME -1 13ED, and
accepted.
11.3 visual inspection
FB2-Z-001(15JZ-39-1) carry out visual inspection for partial derrick structure after finished
fit-up, checking the weld seam and stamp marking per the applicable standard, and found
some welding defect of spatters and require manufacturer to repair, after reqaired, the
result can acceptable.
