Year of Purchase 2013
Installed Capacity 500 Kg/hr as per design data

Capacity Materialized 80 Kg/hr (By Rieco in 2013 )


Current Status : 325 Kg/hr (After lots of Modification )

Modification Done With Reasons for the modification.


Modification Reason for Modification
Modification in rotor shaft from left hand to right This was done in order to avoid material accumulation
hand in opposite to suction
Modification n U Mill screes from Conidor to round This was done in order to get the finer material
hole size
Changed discharge RAL by RIECO to reduce material accumulation in bag filter

Dismantled the Vibroseive which is supplied by Vibroseive is supplied by RIECO was not performing
RIECO well and frequently motor was getting jammed and we
had to rewind this time and again.
Mounting of additional heat exchanger This was imperative in order to prevent occurences of
QC Failures (Vo, Moisture ,Aroma etc)

Removed Big Bag filter and placed Product Collection System was needed in order to increase the
collection system outturn and reduce choking (System was time
consuming with frequent choking & increased COC)

Placed Hammering vibrator to reduce the bag filter choking.


Placed SS sheet at underneath of U Mill to improve the suction.
Shifting C Fan to reduce choking in U Mill bottom to improve the suction.
Issues with Cyclone How it should be and
how it is now?
Issues with RIECO Cyclone How It should be ?
RIECO has supplied big bag filter which is not as Cyclone design should be such a way that area should
per our requirement (Suction becomes more be less which increases the suction pressure according

Why we need a micro-mill ?


No need a Micro Mill but they supplied and insisted to fix one but we have kept aside as we do not find any application for Micro Mill .

Quality Consistency - In beginning, we are not getting product quality like


Vo,Moisture ,aroma etc because of too muh heating,so
formed round mud balls type lumpy material, detoriate
the product quality.Small product threads generated in
screw conveyor due to continous rotation.

Purchase & ROI Decision was made based on the commitment from the
Rieco
Despite several requests and continuous attempts from our end Rieco
have not been able to fix the technical issue. In fact, Rieco have not been
able to ascertain root-cause of the problem.

How it is now?
Currently we have installed a product collection system from Sonex Metal
which is very small as compared to big bag filter and area occupied by
cyclone is half of the earlier one (RIECO supplied) which is seems ok and
through suction is getting more so material is easily coming out from U
Mill.
