MY TEACHING REFLECTION 2016-

What did you want the children to learn this semester?


Self- awareness, students should show their care and aware about
social environment, both in local and international
Self- management- skill, students should show their self discipline
and responsibility toward themselves and others.
Social skill, students should be caring and respect to their friends and
adults.
Cognitive, students should show their understanding about the
materials learned and come up with their action accordingly.
Independency, students should be more independent both at school
and home.

How did you know that the students learn?

Students are actively involved during discussion time, it showed


that they improve their thinking skills about our topic and develop
their communication skill as well.
Students formulate questions about the unit being taught. It tells
me that they pay attention and want to know more about the
topic.
Assessment, I am able to recognize students understanding or
whether they got the core of the lesson or not.
Students do the action at home as well as they experience at
school. It showed that they have strong will to understand the
lessons as an action as well.

The doughnut circle and chair game were some of the


most interesting learning. These activities develop
many aspects of the skill; such as; communications,
self management skills and IB Profiles and Attitudes as
well.

The Venn diagram, by learning it the students learn to


sort out the similarities and differences by classifying
things onto the right places.
