TERMS & CONDITIONS
Candidate / Applicant must fulfill the following conditions:
1. Minimum 16 years education in the relevant field of study.
2. First class or CGPA 2.5 / 4.0 in the last degree.
3. Only one 2nd division and no third division throughout academic career.
4. Maximum age limit is 35 years, relaxable by 5 years in cases of Government / Semi-
Government employees.
5. Have passed GRE type test conducted by NTS in July 2009 — January 2010.
6. Candidates who are already serving in Government / Semi-Government and
autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by N.O.C. from
the employer.
7. In case a permanent faculty / staff member is selected in the short listing he/she will
be awarded scholarship and shall not appear before the University Selection Board.
8. In case of applicants other than University permanent faculty / staff there shall be two
candidates against each scholarship to appear before the selection board for final
selection.
9. Incomplete application forms will not be processed.

2. Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
3. Attested photocopy of NIC.
4. Attested photocopy of NTS result.
5. Attested photocopy of confirmed admission for Ph. D or leading to Ph. D program at one
of the HEC approved Universities.

6. One page concept proposal of study.
7. Attested photocopy of GRE / GMAT score if applicable and available.
8. NOC from the employer in case of Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous body
employee.
9. Subject in terminal degree and its Specialization are required to be mentioned at the top
of the application.
10. A bank draft / postal order of Rs. 200/- in the name of Treasurer, University of the
Punjab, Lahore.
