From: Kjersten Vincent and Annie Young Date: March 2nd, 2017
--Report or chapter: We have been assigned the project conducted
by Bissoonnauth, Edmonds, and Boyd.
--Audience: The audience initially will consist of the authors of the
work and most likely their immediate superiors as well as Dr. Wicklif as our instructor. We have listed the audience members below.
Audience consists of many key players:
- Dr. Wicklif - Usability Coordinator Rachael Winterling - Fellow students of 4183
--The primary purpose: These students conducted usability tests in
order to test UNC Charlottes library webpage. In their report, they note issues and improvements based on the results of the tests. The final product should be professional, consistent, correct, informative, and engaging for the audience. As editors, our part is primarily making sure that this happens through marking changes and inserting comments in the documents we have been presented. We need an established style sheet for consistency if this project is passed on to the library.
--Technology: We will be using Adobe Acrobat Pro to conduct the
edits. The authors will then make changes in the source InDesign or Microsoft Word files.
--Schedule: March 2: Create planning memo and begin edits March 16: Consolidate first round of edits March 23: Final edit with assessment
