Good morning I bid to all. Today, I will give a talk about how the
internet can be used for education. Please lend me your eyes and ears. The
Internet is the largest group of computer systems that use Internet Protocol.
These days, the Internet is used by more than half the worlds population
since the program was found in almost every area related to existence:
whether it is knowledge, news, entertainment, education, communications,
advertising, and so forth. Today, I would like to share some of the advantages
of internet for education

Ladies and gentleman,

The most significant advantage that we gained from internet is online

learning. An additional positive effects associated with Internet within
education may be the onset of distance education or online learning. With
this facility, you are able to take up temporary courses with the course
material available online, learn and provide exams. One of the benefits of
online learning is the fact that individuals from any part of the world can
acquire understanding upon different complete programs, topics, etc. with
the help of online learning.

Besides that, sometimes, encyclopedia might not continually be

available to students plus they may have difficulty within gaining access to
the actual publications within the collection. If so, the actual encyclopedia of
different subjects available on the Internet can be helpful. This really is more
useful for students that fit in with communities lacking English his or her
mother tongue. Kids as well as younger children can also be benefited by the
Internet by using the movies, photos, etc. that is one of the leading
advantages when thinking of books as opposed to computer teaching.
 Communication is one of the greatest advantages of the Internet in
education. Nowadays, files or any documents can be sent via email,
especially when it comes to educational documents such as learning notes or
assignments that need to be checked by the teachers or lecturers. Students
can contact additional students or even their own instructors via the E-mail
should they have inquiries regarding any information. Sharing of information,
discussions on the specific topic, etc. can be simply carried out using the
Internet. At the same time, teachers may also contact the parents and
guardians very easily utilizing Internet.

As we all know, students in secondary school are undergoing new

education module which consist of HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills).The
Internet can be most useful with regard to finishing projects in colleges as
well as schools. As the Internet is an ocean of information, covering nearly all
topics known to man, one can literally find information, research work, and
so on. required for ones projects. Going through the information on the
Internet is definitely quicker than reading an entire guide on the subject.
Home work can also be doable with the help of the Internet which is also
among the essential utilization of computers in education.

Nowadays we can update all of the latest news are continuously up-to-
date on the Internet on various news sites that is one of the major
advantages of the Internet in education. As for example, in Malaysia, we
have Berita Harian Online, The Star Online, Metro Online, E-News and lots of
online news website. Students who are learning national politics, can have a
good access to all the present affairs through the Internet within the school
campus, at home, or even from any other place. Historical company
accounts such as speeches, biographies, and so on will also be readily
available on the Internet in comprehensive as well as precise versions. This is
one of the biggest use of Internet within education.

My dear beloved audience,

 With one of these factors, we find how the need for Internet within
education cannot be refused and hence, every student should be provided
access to the Internet for much deeper understanding and understanding of
a subject. Nevertheless, lots and lots of information can be termed as both,
advantages and disadvantages of the Internet because students can also
have an use of unwanted or unethical information and sites. Consequently, it
is only wise for parents to create students know very well what is good as
well as what not for them or maintain a watch on their surfing.

Assignment 2

A week ago, I was out of town for a couple of days, but while returning back I passed my
school on my way. There it stood lofty and the same old white colored gate bearing the glorious
name that can make any student of this institute proud at any moment wherever and whenever
they hear or see it, SMK Sultan Yahya Petra 1, Kuala Krai, Kelantan.And the SELF-AIDED tag
at one corner! Small trees with blooming flowers still arching the entrance of my school. The
pavements and boulevards alongside while we enter the Petra path, just beside the guards, are
still the same. A look at the netball court can make you nostalgic of the games you played or
spectated while our discipline teacher, Mr Azahar used to yell at or look fiercely into our eyes to
hold us by a strong disciplinarian regime.

I remembered my old class blocks. It had three floors, stood high with white paints and
the school logo on it wall. The school was alive and blooming with wonderful students and
teachers. The school was the place where I grew up and became what am I today. Such a
wonderful place to be in. This was the place where I carved my name as the Tokoh Pelajar
Cemerlang, both in academic and co-curriculum. Those were the glorious days and it gave me so
much to reminisce. As much as I want to keep all those memorable things and places, this was
years ago. Now, things have changed. Technology took it place and that place was different from
last I left high school. More building were build, the school compound was wider and few blocks
of classrooms were added. There was even a new hostel built, but sadly it took few square feet of
the field. The massive developments are great but it did not retain the same memories that I had.
The old building was replaced with new one and few new department are developed.

Many things have changed back then. The campus has become better. But some of the old
teachers are no more, retired. They are replaced by young teachers who possibly will never be
like the old ones. I love my school. The place that have groomed me was really a place of
brilliance and charismatic charm. Every corner of this school has some memory attached to it,
and I cannot deny that it was the best phase of my life, the most memorable one.
