How to use PREZI

Log on to www.prezi.com
Click create a new prezi
Click Start blank prezi for a clear canvass or ...
Choose design and Click Use Template
Give your prezi a title by clicking the text box
To change font and color, use text tool bar
ADD LAY-OUTS
Click Insert
Select Layouts from the Insert menu
This will appear on the screen
Select if Single or
Multi - Frame
For Single Frame click your selection
Click for Multi- Frame and select your desired choice
ADD IMAGE
Click Insert
Go to Image from the Insert Menu
This will pop on your screen
Select the folder / file where your image is located
Then Click Open
Image will appear with the transformation tool
TRANSFORMATION
TOOL
It is visible once you click the object.
Resize your object by clicking the plus or minus or
Drag one of the corners in or out
To Tilt , click and drag the
anchor in any direction
Click Replace
This will pop then click your new image
Click Crop Image
to crop edges
Click and drag one of the corners to crop
Add effects by clicking Effects
from the Transformation Tool
 Enhance,
add effect
or put
frames on
your object
Click Enhance
Click Hi-Def or Illuminate or
Color Fix then
Click Apply
Click Effects
Select the effects you like either Clyde, Avenue etc
Then Click Apply
To put borders on the
object, Click Frames
Choose from the following options either pistol, ivory etc
Click Apply
FRAMES
4 TYPES OF FRAMES
Click the drop down menu on the left
Click and drag the frame anywhere on the canvass
Any frame added, will automatically
be included in the path
 Click to Zoom, change
frame type and add color
Click to add as favorite or
delete the frame
SET PATH
Click the elements to add in the path
Add current view to include
current screen to the path
Close the path tool
by clicking Done
Reorder path by drag and drop thumbnail up or down
Remove a path point by
Clicking Edith Path
Hover over then click the red x
When finished, click Done
Animate in Prezi
Click Edit Path
Stars should appear on the
left side of the frame
Otherwise, content is not
inside a frame
Click the star on the thumbnail or on the frame
Once object is clicked
a green star will appear
 It has also a corresponding
number beside the green star
The number represents
the ordering of fade in
Review the animation by
clicking the play button
To change order, click reset to
remove animation or
Click red x in every green star
then
Hover over then click the object
again to change order
When finished, click Done
And click Done again
INSERT VIDEO
Click Insert
Click From file (PDF, Video)
Select your file and click open
Right Click the video then add path
or Add YouTube Video by copying the link
Then Click Insert
Select YouTube video then click
Paste the link and click Insert
Add frame to the video to
include in the path
To play the YouTube Video,
click Present
Then click the play button in the video

BACKGROUND
MUSIC
Click Insert
Go to Add Background Music then click
Select the music file then click Open
Click the play button
Replace the music by clicking Insert
Click Replace Background Music
Select the music file then click Open
Inserting a hyperlink
Type the full url where
the hyperlink to appear
Line will appear in your text
if successful.
Then click present
