1. Someone has stolen and broken busts of Napoleon that were made by
Gelder and Company. Discuss these questions.

a. Where are the other busts?

The other busts was bought to Mr. Sandeford and to Josiah Brown.

b. Who do you think killed Pietro Venucci, and why?

Prieto Venucci was killed for the busts thief, because they had any trouble

c. Why is Holmes going to go to Chiswick now?

Holmes is going to go to Chiswick now, because he believes that the thief will go to
Chiswick too.

d. Why are the busts so important to someone?

The busts are important because these represent art and culture.

They catch to Beppo, the busts thief.

Josiah Brown is the owner of the fifth bust

The Venuccis brothers knew that Beppo had the pearl and Holmes deducted in
your investigation that Beppo hid the pearl into a Napoleon bust

h. Is very happy with Holmes work?

Mr. Lestrade is very happy and interested in the way that Holmes has solved the
case.

3. Imagine that you are Mr. Sandeford. You receive a letter from Holmes he
wants to buy your bust of Napoleon for 10. You take the bust to his house. When
you go home, you talk to your wife. Tell her what happened there. How do you
feel?

If I was Mr Sandeford, I could be happy, because I bougth something for one


pound, and the purchaser pay me 10 pounds for it. (Mr. Dandeford never knew
about the pearl).
