United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. (December 12, 2014). Backgrounder on the
Three Mile Island Accident. Retrieved from https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-
collections/fact-sheets/3mile-isle.html
This article gives me clear and solid information on what happened and the effects of the Three
Mile Island accident that happened back in March 28, 1979. This also gives me an insight on
what comes from these power plants and the harmful effects that it can cause the ecosystem. This
site is credible, because there are a national organization with many researchers that study in the
field. I plan on using this in my Manuel to show what has happened in the past and what could
happen in the future if we dont do something about the harmful effects this can cause on the
planet earth.

Oeluer, E. & Montel, J. (2008). Restricted access phosphates and nuclear waste storage.
Elements phosphate and Nuclear Waste Storage,4(2).
This gives explanations and elements and have the possibility to be able to hold nuclear waste as
if it were a storage unit and can be used to gather the waste before it harms the earth. This is a
credibly site because this book has different issues which shows that it has been remastered and
edited. This is a creditable source because it has a couple of volumes which shows it has been
rewritten to match the new knowledge that has arisen. I plan to use this information to show a
solution for this pollution that is ongoing.

Rodney, C. Ewing, J. & Weber L. (2004). Nuclear waste disposalpyrochlore (A2B2O7). AIP
Journal of Applied Physics, 95(11).
This article is about how we can use the structure type A2 B2 O7 to turn the nuclear waste into a
storage that could last hundreds of years at a time which will give us more time to find a away to
eliminate it or recycle it. This is creditable sense its a well-known but in its field and to most it is
preferred when looking up the subject. I plan to use this as more information what could be done
to help store the waste till the time we can convert it to something that can recycle the waste for
the better good.

Roxburgh, I.(1987). Geology of high-level nuclear waste disposal. New York, NY. Chapman and
Hall.
It has insight and illustrations of its origins and a display of how the processes to dispose of it as
well as other information on the topic. The company that made it is a popular in its time so that
makes the source creditable. I plan to use the illustrations to show how to properly dispose of
such waste then just though it out and letting it get into the water stream.

Wallace, M., David Banks, G., & Rodriguez A. (August 2, 2013). Finding a Solution to
Americas Nuclear Waste Problem. CSIS. https://www.csis.org/analysis/finding-solution-america
%E2%80%99s-nuclear-waste-problem.
This is an online article about the causes and effects of nuclear waste and what is on the line
when nuclear waste comes in to the equation. Also, this article has some dates on what has
happened and what could happen in the near future. This is part of an international study which
shows that it has many resources so it has the credibility in the subject.I plan to use this
information to tell what is the possibility of nuclear waste has on the future generation.
