A. Objective
To understand the components required and the design techniques, including
related regulations and building by-laws, for vertical and horizontal
mechanical handling systems, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and
gas installation systems.

B. Learning Outcomes
At the end of this task, students should be able to achieve (CO1). In the long
run, the task is to assist each student to achieve the outcomes of PO2.

C. Instructions
1. Youre required to conduct a thorough case study on one particular
building that has been equipped with 1 system listed below:
a. Vertical / horizontal mechanical handling system
b. Natural / mechanical ventilation system
c. Gas supply system

2. Therefore, your case study report must provide a detailed description

of the 1 system mentioned above.

3. The content of your case study may include:
