The Principle components in CNG LOVATO EASY FAST sequential System:

CNG Filling valve Device through which the cylinder is fitted


CNG TANK- Tank for CNG in compressed gaseous state
CNG Cylinder Valve- Allows CNG into and out of the tank
Reducer with shut-off and sensors-Device through which the gas passes and reduces to
working pressure. Incorporates pressure gauge/sensor for tank CNG level and gas circuit
shut off valve.
Filter- Filters gas; into version with sensors measures temperature and pressure of the gas
and manifold pressure.
Injector Rail- Injects the correct amount of CNG into each cylinder.
Changeover Switch-Allows user to change between CNG and petrol and indicates level of
CNG in the tank.
Gas ECU- Receives signals from various sensors and calculates the amount of CNG to be
injected

IF the 19th century belonged to coal, & the 20th to oil, then the 21st century
shall belong to gas.

The RME 090 pressure reducer has been designed by LOVATO to achieved up to the Euro 4th
standard. LOVATO RME 090 is a powerful reducer, suitable for high powered cars (from 500 to
4000 CC). Reliable under all working condition and provided superior performance in comfort and
Drivability.
Lovato conversion system are using advanced software that controls the injection interruption,
lambda control and timing advance functions for lowest emission and maximum mileage, Lovato
conventional (mixer) system have specific vehicle and calibration option as well as diagnostic
program.

There are mainly 2 types of systems in conventional CNG conversion :

Open loop system:

Open loop system contains advanced timing sensor/emulator MPFI, the system is pretty
basic and it needs regular adjustments if you need best performance out of it you will also
need to check the engine lamp due to the lambda error. Open loop system does not calculate
lambda O2 readings but keeps the gas flowing according to the requirements.
Open loop system does not involves the lambda control unit ECU/stepper motor, in this
system only the manual gas flow adjuster feeds the gas to the engine.

Close Loop system (Lambda Control System) :

Close loop system comes with Lambda Controller ECU/stepper motor MPFI emulator, this system
has complete automatic gas regulation and it also depends on what the car engine requires apart
from that it emulates the lambda O2 readings to the main car ECU to prevent engine check. Many
people opt for Close loop systems because the mileage & pick up is better

For Better Mileage and Smooth Performance:

Lambda Control System is a computerized self registering electronic system for the
management of Natural Gas. It is n antipollution computerized device which controls of
emission of MPFI cars.
Lambda Control System maintains the stoichiometric ratio of the fuel setting constant
through the acquisition of the Lambda probe signal of vehicle. It optimizes driving
parameters during the transitory phases in acceleration and in deceleration.
Lambda Control System it does not require manual adjustment and is capable of adapting
automatically to changing environmental condition and different vehicle uses ensuring and
optional carburetion in terms of drive-ability consumption and demission.
Lambda Control System electronically manages the adjustment of the flow rate of Gas,
allowing the Lambda factor to reach desired levels at all engine revolution rates.
Lambda Control System Electromechanical actuator dosing the amount of gas at medium
and high regimes. (At-Max.) Keeping it constant even when other system is running such as
air conditioning, Power Steering etc.
TAP (Timing Advance Processor) :

For Petrol Type Pick-up in CNG


The Timing Advance Processor adjusts the advance when engine is running on Gas and resets the
original Timing when the engine operates with Petrol. The TAP improves performance and
consumption, company always suggests using this device on CNG Vehicle.

CNG Sequential Gas Kit:

Lovato has successfully developed the 3rd Generation Alternate Fuel System for modern cars
known as FAST, system has all of the attributes and benefits of the earlier system. In Addition it is
super intelligent and it has the ability to inject gas in a truly sequential manner and it allow fueling
each Cylinder with optimized flow sand injection lines by means of an injection common rail. The
injection time given by the original cars ECU is used as main parameter in the definition of the
injection time in CNG mode.
