Teaching goal
The aim of this lesson is the children know the phases of the moon.
Learning objectives (children will be able to)
- Identify moon phases.
- Understand moon phases.
- Design the phases of the moon.
Assumptions about prior learning
Children already know what does the moon looks like. In this lesson they will learn about phases of the
moon.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
Children might not know why the moon is dark or bright. Explain that the dark part of the moon is just
difficult to see.
Personal focus for this lesson
My personal focus in this lesson is to make sure that the children understood the objective of this lesson.
