School's Background
Wadi Sofia International School (WaSIS) is a private co-educational institution established by Datuk Hassan
Harun in 2005. It provides primary, secondary, and pre-university education. It is one of the schools under the
umbrella of Wadi Sofia College Sdn. Bhd. The schools are registered with Malaysia's Ministry of Education,
while WaSIS is a recognized and registered Cambridge International Centre.

Unique Features of the School

The school is a 21-acre purpose-built campus situated on the family estate of Datuk Hassan Harun, which was founded in 1976. What was
originally a small rubber holding and orchard has since been transformed into a garden of fruit trees, exotic plants, flora and fauna which
plays host to a variety of local and annual migratory birds. A rarity these days, the campus is truly evergreen, fresh, very clean, and free
from any pollution.
The school is managed by Datuk Hassan and his family members. Almost all members of his immediate family live on the campus and its
vicinity.
His own children and grandchildren study in the school. Owing to this, the care of the students especially those staying at the hostels is very
intimate and family-like.
Apart from Datuk Hassan and his family, about a third of the school's staff and teachers stay within the campus and its vicinity, making it
convenient for them to be on the campus all the time.
The campus community which is colorful, cheerful and vibrant is composed of 17 nationalities with English as its lingua franca.
Our safe and secure twin-sharing on-campus accommodation facilities, separate for boys and girls, help to mould characters that are caring,
self-reliant, interdependent, and team-spirited.

Courses & Curriculum

Our institution operates national and international schools which run parallel to each other, sharing staff, facilities and campus.
English Language & Bahasa Malaysia are the main media of instruction of these schools.
