After comparing the data on
hand, the researcher found out that,
on average, there was a noticeable
improvement in the subjects
reading fluency and reading
comprehension after exposing them
to the reading intervention using the
Repeated Reading strategy.
Reading is crucial to
successful learning. If students
are to succeed in school as well
as in life, it is imperative that
teachers give emphasis on the
development of their reading
proficiency especially among
frustration readers.
It is strongly recommended
that Repeated Reading be used
by VNHS as primary tool in its
Minutes of Reading Intervention
(MRI) to address the wants and
needs of frustration readers in
remedial reading while improving
their reading proficiency.
