#10 Psalm 31:24 So be strong and courageous, all you who put your
hope in the Lord!
This Psalm of David was written to encourage us to have courage in hard
times. David was very familiar with hard times having had to live in caves
and hide from the current government of the time. If you are displaced or
you are risking death because of your faith, this Psalm is one you can
memorize and take comfort in.
#9 Psalm 39:7 And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in
you.
This is another quote about hope that shows us that God will make a way.
He is speaking directly to God and saying that his trust is in God. When all
the things around us come tumbling down, our relationship with God is
the only thing that remains constant. Jesus put it this way. He said to
build our houses upon the rocks so they would have a firm foundation.
