The lesson started with the reading / discussing of the objective.
The lesson continued with short video about a rocket launch at NASA.
The students will be reading about a student in a rocket-launching contest.
The students viewed a power point of WH definitions with accompanied pictures. The students were than instructed to circle all the WH
words in the text. The slide was of high interest to the students. It was colorful and bright.
The lesson continued as the student read the story Rocket Contest and were asked questions throughout. The objective was for them to circle
or highlight the WH words. (where, who, when and what)
The student then worked independently (with the help of their adult assistants) by completing a worksheet where they filled in different wh
details.
