IC-9039: Multimedia Interface.

- NEW PEUGEOT 407 / 607

This interface is to be used in cars with 12V negative ground only.

Depending on the type of installation to be performed in your Peugeot 407/607, you will
need to cose between these two options:

Option A) In case you want to connect a Navigation system only, you will only need to
use our Peugeot RGB board.
In this case you cant install any rear view camera or external video source.

Option B) Peugeot 407/607 has an auxiliary input, but it does not work with the car in
motion. To install a rear view camera or a DVD player and see the picture in motion,
you will need to install both the Universal RGB Interface and the Peugeot RGB board.

Safety Advices before Installation
Caution:
Installation requires special knowledge and should be done by trained personnel.
Please read these instructions carefully before you start to work.
Please work with caution and patience.
Use suitable and recommended tools only and handle all parts with special attention.
Follow the regulations concerning the vehicle electric system.
Remove the ignition key before you start the installation.
Take care that no electric consumers are still switched on.
Installation may only be done in idle status.
Please pay attention to the car manufacturers requirements.

LCD OUT: Connect to monitor.

LCD IN: Connect to PDB board located behind the monitor.
NAVI: Connect to Navigation.

-DIP SWITCH SETTINGS

It is possible that some units have misprinted signs. Switch DOWN means OFF, switch
UP means ON.
1.- NAVI IN 2.- VIDEO INPUT 1 3.- VIDEO INPUT 2
4.- VIDEO INPUT 3 7.- CAMERA INPUT 5, 6, 8.- OPTION.

-These 2 connectors will have no use:

3) Removal of the front monitor
1.- Remove the dashboard frame

2.- Remove the four screws

3.- Disconnect the wires and remove the monitor

4) Monitor

1.- Remove the cover

Remove the three screws Remove the back cover of the monitor

2.- Disconnect the cables and remove the PCB board

3.- Connect the FCC Cables IN and OUT

Remove original FCC cable Connect FCC cable (OUT) to monitor

Connect FCC cable (IN) to PCB board

4.- Connect the FCC to the Peugeot RGB board

5A.- In A option installations, connect IR and RGB cables to the board, as shown in the
picture.

5B.- In B option installations, connect IR and RGB cables to the board, as shown in the
picture. The RGB cable must be connected to both RGB Interface and RGB Board, IR
cable must be connected to the RGB Interface.
REMEMBER: IN THIS INSTALLATION, THE MICROCHIP ON THE PCB
BOARD MUST BE REMOVED

6.- How to pass the cable

You will need to make a hole.

Place the monitor in its original position.

5) Location of ACC and GND connections

You will find the following connections at the rear of the radio.

ACC
You will find ACC connection under the steering wheel.
607: Brown
407: Grey

FOR SAFETY REASONS, YOU MUST CONNECT A FUSE (15A) TO ACC.
