RECOMPLETION PLAN FOR HRWP
Note:
In low Bottom Hole Pressure situations (if well is on vacuum) start
the low-pressure tubing test with 100-200 psi instead of 500 psi.
Look for early shear in this situation.
If the ball seat shears as low as 2,100 psi, ensure to drop
the secondary 2.125
If 2,600 psi is not achieved due to premature shear, drop
secondary ball (2.125 Phenolic Ball,G-11). Confirm fluid weight
and ball density. It may be necessary to pump ball to seat. Once on
seat, repeat steps.

26. Bleed off tubing pressure to zero and perform anchor test with 10 Kips
overpull and 10 Kips Set down on packer to ensure the packer slips
have engaged the casing.
27. Set down workstring with 4 kips, close BOP and test packer seals by
applying 500 psi to the annulus/10 minutes by Rig Pump.
Monitor backside pressures and workstring returns to ensure packer
seals are holding. Then continue to pressure up to 3,000 psi/5
minutes to release the service tool from packer. Slowly release
annular pressure to zero. Mark the workstring to indicate neutral
position.
- At approx. 750-psi the service tool will be released from the
packer.
- If necessary, the service tool may be released from the packer by
applying 10 15 right hand rotations at the packer. (*If EUE
Tubing used, apply 30 35 right hand rotations).
- Ensure that there is provision for adding the stand of tubing to
connect to
Note: Once packer has been set and the service tool is released from
the packer, all tool movements are to be only as necessary to perform
job. All upward movement of the tool string is to be done as slow as
possible to avoid swabbing formation sand and gas into the wellbore.
28. Open BOP. P/U workstring to the p/u weight. Mark P.
29. Contd Pick-up 7ft to R (Reverse Position) from P (P/U
weight). Positive indication of reverse position will be observed when
the Shifting tool collet makes contact with the sealbore.
30. Pressure up the string in the range of 3,500- 4,000 psi to shear the
ball seat and open treating port by Rig Pump. The primary ball seat
will shear and be blown inside the sump housing without posing any
restriction.

Note: If secondary ball was used to set packer, reverse out setting ball
to surface to be captured. Ensure all stings and connection to ball
catcher can pass throu 2.125 ball. Mark the workstring to indicate
reverse position. Establish reverse circulating rates; record rates and
pressures.

IMPORTANT :
This step should be performed as soon as possible after pumping operations end to
get maximum effect of temperature change due to pumping.
This will provide some indication of the change in tool movement and position due to
pressure and drag effects.
It should also be noted however that other variables such as slurry left in the pipe,
sand out pressures and fluids differentials may cause even further changes to
workstring weight and position. These must be accounted for in determining true
reverse position after treatment.

Pickle Workstring (OPTIONAL)

39. Perform Pre Job safety Meeting for acid pickle job.
40. Pickup string to Reverse position with 7 ft from P position
marking.
41. In order to clean any pipe scale and or debris from the workstring,
pump the following Pickle with the tool in the reverse position @ 2
bpm. Record all rates and pressures.
Please Refer to ONGC recommended Acid pickle recipe.
42. Displace it with linear gel till 3 bbls of Frac port.
43. Reverse out pickle through annulus by Rig pump or Cementing and
capture the return in pit.
Operator is responsible for disposal of spent pickle material and tank
cleaning.
