It is with great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mackenzie Saephanh. I

have had the privilege of knowing her for a little over two years. She was a student of
mine for Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 Honors and during this time I have seen her grow to an
extraordinary young lady. Mackenzie has proven to be a driven, responsible and
determined student who is willing and prepared to learn new ideas.

Mackenzie is receptive to learning and willing to accept challenges. In fact, she seems to
welcome them and as you continue to read this recommendation you will understand why.
She has high standards of achievement and displays a natural sense of responsibility. I
have found her to be a dependable young lady and honorable in all of her affairs. Her
friendly personality complements her academic capabilities and her conscientious
determined attitude to succeed in all events.

In addition to fulfilling her academic responsibilities Mackenzie also enjoys reading,

programming, graphic design, travelling and learning new languages. During her freshman
and sophomore year she participated in JV soccer and JV volleyball, respectively. She has
also participated in clubs such as Leo Club, Kiwins, and currently is a Girls Who Code
Alumni and as if that wasnt enough shes also involved in student government; currently
shes the Senior Class Secretary.

Mackenzie has also had the opportunity of doing volunteer services in our community. She
has raised funds for families in need in our community, fed the homeless, volunteered in
the Lu Mien Community, and volunteered in one of our elementary schools, Alicia Reyes,
where she was a classroom assistant and helped in choir and track.

Overall, Mackenzies resilience, determination and initiative help her to accept new
challenges that she encounters along the way. She has a mature approach to her
responsibilities and possesses all the necessary characteristics for success. I highly
recommend her to you with the confidence that she possesses and social maturity and
outstanding personal attributes.
