Description: The FTS Data Integration project is intended to introduce a framework into our enterprise that

source publishing system will be agnostic of consuming target systems and what data elements they choose to consume.

incoming messages, validate, store in a persistent layer in an enterprise entity model aka EMM (DB with an enterprise
schema to support all business for that data set), enrich and transform to a message for target system to subscribe and

Description: The U.S. TA platform, Investar, supports a three digit fund number. With this Increase the fund
number field in Investar from 3 digits to 5 digits and identify and modify downstream applications that cannot accommodate
a fund number field greater than 3 digits. The fund number is used internally by Investar and multiple downstream and
upstream applications and business units to identify U.S. Products. Each product and share class is assigned a unique three
digit fund number. The purpose of this project is to increase the number of fund identifiers available before the current
supply of Investar fund numbers is depleted. This project is necessary to continue to support the launch of new U.S. fund
products and share classes.

Description: New Account Macro (NAM) is a legacy application that is used for opening new accounts for the
USTA. The application is built using unsupported technology like VB6 and there are also outdated technologies like Investar
screen scraping. FTT and the business would like to partner and move the NAM functionality to a more improved user
experience within the PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) environment. PRPC will set the foundation for straight-
through processing, character recognition for the New Account Form, work-item approach for entire new account opening
process, and end-end visibility of new account opening process. In addition, users should be able to retrieve productivity
reporting in PRPC.

Description: There has been an increased focus from various states in US on abandoned property reporting and
the way in which they are enforcing their regulatory statutes. Some states are placing their focus on shareholder contact
with firms versus solely using returned mail to determine whether the property is escheatable. The level of complexity
increases with states using a combination of returned mail and shareholder activity or returned mail or shareholder activity.
Most states use a 3 to 5 year dormancy period to base a customers last contact with a firm. Franklin Templeton needs to
be able to show we have had contact with our shareholders in the 3 to 5 year timeframe or the states can demand the
funds be turned over to them.

purpose of the project is to allow the Dealer, Branch and Financial Advisor community to use DST Vision for inquires of their
Franklin Templeton accounts. Real-time inquiry via middleware messages (DST Gateway) and also batch inquiry via files
(INVESTAR/NDM). It will have two back-end source systems are accessed: GID & INVESTAR.
