I. ACTIVITY
Write-on-hand
Instructions. Participants draw two hands in a clean sheet of paper. On the right
hand, they must put their goals/dreams and on the left they should write how those
can be achieved.

II. ANALYSIS

A goal without a plan is just a wish .

There is always a process in everything
we do. If we want to achieve
something, we think of ways
on how we can get it. There would be
struggles on the way but if
you have plans you will never be lost. Educational planning Shares the same logic.
III. ABSTRACTION

Here are some of the ideas you need to put in mind to overcome the barriers to effective
planning:

1. Feedback to communicate more effectively and overcome objections, start by

collecting information about the problem at hand. Avoid misinterpretation,
misunderstanding and mistakes by assembling the facts.

Do not be afraid to ask queries regarding a plan. Especially to those who are lower in
rank. Remember that you are there to improve and develop, asking is part of knowing
and identifying. You must be precise with the information you have gathered to avoid
bigger mistakes. Inform the people that will be involved. Do not disregard their
presence.
2. Change Barriers to change include reluctance to part with the old ways, sadness and
regret associated with loss, and fear of the unknown. Managing change effectively and
overcoming these obstacles involves setting a clear course for the future and
establishing realistic goals

The presence of change would always be on the negative side. New ideas invite change
and thus separation from the usual ways which everyone has been adapted to. But in
the end, everything will change. You must be firm with the change while helping others
to cope up with the new.

3. Decision Making Barriers to success often involve an inability to make good choices.
Learning how to evaluate options efficiently can help you ensure career success.
In every bad choices we make there will be a positive side and a negative one. Be sure
that you will take something out of mistake. Learn from it and not live by it. It would help
if you can keep notes or evaluate the risks that the plan may encounter.

4. Productivity when you goals do not align with those planned, you motivation and
desire to perform decrease. Ensure that you fully understand your companys strategic
objective, mission and values so that you can position yourself appropriately.

Make sure that you have the right plan for the right goal.
