JobDescription:Thispositionexiststodevelopandcoordinateactivitiesforstudentsand
parentsparticipatingintheCLCprogram.TheSiteCoordinatorwillprovideon-site
supervisionforallprogramsaswellashandleday-to-daysituationssuchasdiscipline,
separationissues,andscheduling.Dutiesalsoincludeplanning,implementation,hiring,
supervision,andevaluationofallstaff,programsandactivitiestohelpstudentsstriveto
improveinacademics,attendance,behavior,maintainingaccuratedatarelevanttothe
planning,management,andevaluationoftheprogram.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
Bachelorsdegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity
Collegecourseworkineducation/youthissues,
CPRandfirstaidcertifications
Successcontinuationandcompletionofprofessionaldevelopment
PreferredTeacherlicensedandteachingexperience

SpecialKnowledge/Skills:
Knowledgeofprinciplesrelatedtodevelopmentofyouthbetween5and18yearsof
age
Knowledgeofinfusingacademicandleisurestudies
Strongorganizational,communication,leadership,technology,andinterpersonal
skills
Theabilitytomaintainapositiveworkingrelationshipwiththepublicand
frontlinestaff
OrganizationalandTimemanagementskills
Knowledgeofcommunityresources.

Experience:
Twoyearsexperiencewithout-of-schoolprogrammanagementpreferred
Experiencewithchilddevelopmentorleisurestudiespreferred
Demonstratedabilitytoeffectivelyworkwithothersandprovideleadershiptoyour
andadults

Responsibilities:Otherdutiesandresponsibilitieswillbeidentifiedastheprojectdevelops.
Plan,develop,implementandevaluateprograms,servicesandactivitiesforthesite
incooperationwiththeschooladministration
Establishprograms,activitiesthatprepareyouthforsuccess,promotingsafetyof
membersandqualityinprogramsatalltimes
Understandyourresponsibilityasarolemodelforyouth
DocumentalloutcomesandobjectivesasneededinreportstoDPI
Provideaccuratefinancialdocumentationandmanagementforthesite
Hirepart-timeteachersandrecruitvolunteerstaff
Supervisetheperformanceofteachers,programvolunteers,andcommunitybased
organizationsstaff.
Provideleadershipatspecialprogramsand/orevents
Makeapositivecontributiontoafter-schoolteamanddayschoolteacher
departmentmeetings
Activelyrecruitstudentswhoarerecommendedfortheprogrambyteachers,
counselors,andadministrators
Demonstrateflexibilityandabilitytomanagesituationsofambiguity,including
helpingmonitorandsupervisestudentsduringtheafter-schoolhourprogram
