From 2016 May Independent Consultant and Trainer for DevOps and Cloud Move Based
in Navi Mumbai - India

Helping Startups get going faster in the cloud and to adopt DevOps best practices for
a faster CI/CD. I am also a Cloud, Linux and Devops tools trainer.
As a freelancer, helping Startups like Boxme ( www.goboxme.com ) adopt DevOps from
development to production and to get them going in AWS with IOT for stremlining their warehouse
operations.

Conducting a 9 day corporate training for 3 key areas which needs focus for moving to agile and
faster development , which are Advanced Linux ( Covering Containers, Orchestration, Container
networking ) , Advanced Cloud computing ( Covering mainly OpenStack, Kubernetes and AWS
with more focus on Infra as Code) and DevOps tools and methodologies.

During the 9+ years in Citibank, have been in various teams, and been involved in a
number of Global / large project initiatives. Designing and building infrastructure, doing POC,
RnD. I was heading the Asia Performance Engineering Team ( Citibank Online and Mobile ) for 2
years. Currently working in the Platform Architecture and automation team.

From Jan 2014 to May 2016 in Citibank N.A, -Singapore - In DevOps and Automation and
Cloud Services Team

The DACS team is the engineering and architecture team responsible for POC and
certification for new technologies and tools adoption. I was directly involved in the OpenStack
infrastructure testing ( for hosting in-house PCF and Kubernetes Stack ) and in configuring and
using IBM DP as a api gateway for the first few services we trialed with microservices.

From Jun 2012 to Dec 2013 - in Citibank N.A. -Singapore - VP - Systems and Performance
Engineering Ebusiness

As Lead in the Performance Engineering team, I was incharge of all L3 escalations for
performance issues arising from Internet and Mobile banking sites of Citi in whole of Asia and
EMEA and also responsible for certifying performance readiness / code / Architecture review for
new changes released to production.

From 2005 to 2008 - in Citibank N.A. Singapore- Architecture Framework and Infrastructure
team - ITO Singapore

As part of Afi team, I was involved in numerous POC for Middleware, SOA and BPM
product evaluation. Tibco Business Works and Business Events were one of them along with
ALBPM. I was the leading the Environment and Deployment team for a project called Centralized
Offer Pallete, which is a Automated Offer engine for credit card customers, based on thier usage
patterns. We implemented COPS successfully for three asia countries namely HK, SG and Thailand,
before the next major product change due to changes in technology na dthe Business events product
version iterations.

From 2003 to 2005 in Citibank N.A. - ITO Singapore

I was part of the Touchpoint technologies infrastructure and Deployment team

focussing on all front end application deployment, maintainenece and L2 / L3 support activities
pertaining to this for Asia and Europe. I was manning a team of around 12 people. The platform was
predominantly Aix 5.3/6.x on WebSphere application Server and Oracle as back end iwth IBM MQ
Series for all Host / Back End connectivity.

2008 Oct to 2012 June - Barclays Technology Center In Singapore

During the 3 + years in Barclays, have headed the Application Service Delivery
Team, managing the complete DevOps cycle end to end for Barclays Enterprise Middleware ( IBM
MQ Msg Broker ) and Barclays Internet and Mobile banking sites and also support for the
applications in Production ( L2 / L3 ). Also been involved in moving complex Banking applications
as part of migration of Datacenters.

2000 Jun to 2003 Sep - Worked for INteractive1 ( in London - UK )

Infrastrucutre setup and Consulting for M&G ( Prudential ), Canon - Europa,

KnightFrank, Channel-4 Television and PWC

During this 4 years, have been involved in setup / install and day to day support
for the solutions that Interactive1 provides to the above clients. Mainly involved in supporting the
setup and support of M&G's Fund managegement portal ( www.mandg.co.uk ) and PwC's Inform
Portal( https://inform.pwc.com ).

1997 Oct to 2000 May - NatureSoft Creative software solutions ( Chennai )

In NatureSoft, I was involved in the support of thier infrastructure, SoftRetail

production Deployment and the Lateral Linux Labs Initiative. Trained many Corporate SA's
( Wipro / TCS etc.. ) for Linux adoption in 1999 / 2000.
