TOTAL ENGINEERING COMPLEXITY FOR THIS BUILDING AREA 27.8

* The individual engineering complexity for an item that is marked with an asterisk(*) should be multiplied by the no. of its different occurences.

Form No. EN-02 Rev No.06 Date : 03-Mar-99

Notes : 1. Complexities have been adjusted to reflect 10 hours per complexity point.
2. A mirror image building shall have an overall complexity representing 20% of that given to the original building.
3. Add 0.5 complexity points for each occurrence of roof or wall transition at interfaces between building areas.
4. Add 0.6 complexity points for each occurrence of an expansion joint at interfaces between building areas.
5. Add 1.2 complexity points for special drawing format (once for the whole building).
6. Add 0.6 complexity points for special design requirements (once for the whole building).
7. Add 0.2 complexity points for each additional identical building.
8. In the event that an item listed above occurs in more than one area with exactly the same details and same conditions, its complexity
shall be counted only once.
9. The complexity of identical areas shall be counted only once.
