To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Keith Tetangco, and I am writing on behalf of Lily Ogden, who is currently applying
for scholarships. I have known Lily for seven months now as a Forensic Science student at
Merced High School.

Merced High School is known for being the home of scholars and champions. Lily is a true bear
in this aspect. She currently maintains a 3.55 GPA while being a valuable member of our varsity
girls soccer team (a team still in the running for the CCC title!). Not only does she juggle
academics and athletics, Lily finds the time to work at Salon Di Capelli where she cleans and has
even helped volunteer in community cleaning projects through an organization called Alpha.
You would never know that Lily has such a busy schedule from meeting her she always has a
smile on her face as she is personable despite being constantly busy.

Lily is a student who is determined to succeed. Lily is very outgoing and is a very poised young
lady. In short Lily has the potential to do great things in this world. I strongly recommend that
your institution help Ms. Ogden and her future plans by offering her a scholarship. An
investment in Lilys future education is a worthwhile investment.
