Classroom Rules:
These are the rules which all students are expected to follow during language class:

1) Do your best to make other class members feel comfortable.

2) Be prepared for class.

3) Exhibit classroom behavior that facilitates the learning and teaching processes.

Of course, students are also expected to follow all rules outlined in the student
handbook while they are in language class.

Consequences for appropriate/inappropriate behavior:

Students who choose to follow the rules may be rewarded with any or all of the following
consequences:

2) A note/phone call/e-mail to the parent or guardian

3) A reward such as a treat, sticker, bookmark or pencil

If a student chooses NOT to follow a rule, the following consequences will apply:

2nd offense - the teacher will communicate with the student's parent or guardian

3rd offense - the teacher will write a referral to the grade level assistant principal

I will be working with your child to ensure that we all have a very successful school
year. If at any time you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at 210-
852-5487 and leave a message for me or you can e-mail me
at ernesto.bello@ecsisd.net. I will make every effort to respond to you as soon as
possible. If you would like to meet with me, we can schedule a conference. I look
forward to working with you and your child for an exceptionally successful school year.
