Auserwhoisinneedofbloodcanpostabloodrequestontheappserversothatthepersonwho
iseligibleforblooddonationcanrespondtotherequest.Thisbloodrequestwhichissentis
receivedbytheuserswhoarelocatedintheregionwherethebloodrequesthasbeenposted.
ViewBloodRequestsScreen
VBRscreenprovides usertosearchforvarious bloodrequests thathas beenpostedonthe
application.Usercannarrowdownthesearchresultswiththehelpofthesearchparameters
provided,i.e,CityandBloodGroup.
BloodRequiredScreen
Thisscreenprovideswiththebasicdetailswhicharerequiredinordertoidentifytheblood
request.Adonorcancontactthebloodrequestsenderorbycontactingwiththehelpof"Contact
RequestSender"button.AnSMSissenttotherequestsenderandthenthetwopartiescan
communicateattheirdiscretion.
ManageRequestsScreen
Thisscreenhelpstheusertomanagethebloodrequeststhathehasposted.Theuserhastoverify
the request by the verification code he receives via SMS. If the user status is "Awaiting
Confirmation"thenhecanberedirectedtotherequestverificationpageandthenhecanverify
hisrequest.
SearchHospitalsScreen
Thisscreenhelpstheuserbylistingallthenearbyhospitalsnearertotheuserslocation.We
haveusedtheYelpAPIforgettingtheinformationofthehospitalsnearby.Wehaveuseda
simplelistviewforshowingthehospitalsnames.Ifweclickonanyhospital,ittakesustothe
selectedhospitalscreenandliststheaddressandphonenumberofthespecifiedhospital.
SearchBloodBanksScreen
Thisscreenhelpstheuserbylistingallthenearbybloodbanksnearertotheuserslocation.We
haveusedtheYelpAPIforgettingtheinformationofthebloodbanksnearby.Wehaveuseda
simplelistviewforshowingthebloodbanksnames.Ifweclickonanybloodbank,ittakesusto
theselectedhospitalscreenandliststheaddressandphonenumberofthespecifiedbloodbank.
SelectedHospitalsScreen
Thisscreenshowstheaddressandphonenumberoftheselectedhospital/bloodbank/hotel.Ithas
amapfragmentwiththelocationoftheselectedhospital/bloodbank/hotelandthelocationofthe
userwiththebluemarker.Ifyouclickonthedirectionsbuttononthemapfragment,ittakesus
tothegooglemapsapplicationandnavigatesusfromourlocationtothedestination.Ifweclick
onthephonenumber,dialerapplicationisopenedautomaticallywiththephonenumberonit.
