THE DISTRIBUTION: All are welcome at the Lords Table: the baptized to receive
the sacrament - the unbaptized to receive a blessing. Parents decide when it is time
to commune their baptized children and what elements they should receive. The
pastor is always delighted to discuss participation in this Meal. Please note we use
wine. Grape juice is available in the glasses in the center of the trays. The hosts are
not gluten free. If choosing to refrain from either the wine or the host, please know
that in the Communion of one kind you have received the whole presence of the
risen Christ. At the 8:00a.m. Liturgy, we bring the elements to you in the pew and
ask that you wait until all are served to commune. At our 10:15a.m. Liturgy,
distribution can vary. Today we are communing continuously by coming to the
chancel rail. Please follow the ushers instructions.

HYMNS FOR THE DISTRIBUTION: (10:15 a.m.)

*Post-Communion Prayer
We give you thanks, O God, that you make your home with us, bringing
heaven to earth in this holy meal. Fill us with your Spirit as we go from
here, that we may wipe away tears, tend to those in mourning and pain,
seek the healing of the nations, and bring to earth the presence of your Son,
Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Amen.

ST. PAULS LITTLESTOWN -HISTORICAL FACT

Pastor Alleman and Council met to plan a Congregational Festival for
Thursday, August 18, 1870, for all members of St. Pauls Church and
Sabbath School. A committee was appointed to arrange for religious
exercises 9:30 10:30 and 2:30 3: 30. A group of ladies would arrange
for dinner at noon and supper at 5:00. Families would provide the food,
but all would eat at a common table. It was to be held in a grove near the
Conewago Bridge on the Littlestown Railroad. Members were to meet at
the church to process to the railroad cars which would transport them to
and from the grove, complete with a Marshall of the Day.
